The M2 motorway was closed both ways on Saturday after a serious accident involving a motorcyclist.
The biker was taken to hospital following the crash, which happened between junction five and six (Sittingbourne and Faversham), at about 11.45am.
The man, thought to be in his late 50s, was taken to the Royal London Hospital with serious injuries.
Police attended the scene and an investigation is under way.
