ONE person was killed and another injured after four lorries and a car were involved in an accident on the A20.
The crash happened on the coastbound carriageway near Capel-Le-Ferne at about 11.50pm on Tuesday.
One of the HGV drivers died at the scene and another person received minor injuries.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the collision.
The road was closed and is likely to remain so until at least 9am on Wednesday morning. Traffic will be diverted onto the B2011.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident to come forward.
