Motorcyclist hurt in crash with lorry

A MOTORCYCLIST suffered a broken ankle when he was in collision with a heavy goods vehicle this morning.

Emergency crews were called to the A228 Halling Road at Cuxton, near Rochester, at about 10am.

The road was closed for about half an hour causing a mile-long tailback in both directions.

The motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to Maidstone Hospital.

The driver of the lorry was unhurt.
