Medway will get close to £7m to help resurrect the construction of 103 homes on St Mary’s Island.
The cash injection was announced today by MP John Healey, the Minister of State for Housing.
The Towns will get £6,932,000 from the Kickstart project, a scheme to restart stalled building projects.
Medway MPs Paul Clark and Jonathan Shaw said in a statement: “This is great news for Medway.
“It will provide new homes, save jobs, provide apprenticeships and help local families to get a home of their own.”
